On this page I'll try and refer you some good local restaurants.. both high end and where the locals eat. And yes, for the partying crowd.. this place may seem to shut down by 10 pm.. but there is still a little nightlife around.. If you know where to find it.. I'll keep you posted.. |

did you know... In 1965, Florida State Representative Bernie Papy, Jr. introduced legislation calling for a $100 fine to be levied against anyone advertising key lime pie that is not made with key limes. The bill did not pass. As of July 1, 2006, key lime pie is the Florida state pie. The empty conch shell can be used as a musical instrument! |

Two things to know when ordering food in the Keys.. that chewy seafood you just ordered, it's pronounced "Konk", not "konch" AND the Key lime pie filling should be yellow, not green. Also, don't ask if the fish is fresh! (It is)
